Mission

The King of Thailand Birthplace Foundation, a nonprofit corporation and public charity incorporated in 1998 under 501(c)(3) in Massachusetts . KTBF is comprised of Thai and American men and women who believe in cultural exchange, community service, and historic preservation.

Our objective is to preserve Thai history where King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his family had lived in Massachusetts from 1916-1928. Trail of Thai Royalty in Massachusetts describes this history honoring Thailand’s longest reigning, most beloved monarch, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and his royal family.

KTBF Cultural Exchange program was initiated in 1999. The program has been highly successful. Students from Thailand came to exchange culture with American students at many schools in Massachusetts. The program runs one month in April and 3 weeks in October. Our foundation relies on the contribution from the individuals and corporation. If you wish to support our projects, your tax-deductible contribution can be sent to KTBF

How the King of Thailand Birthplace Foundation was established?

With the cooperation of the Thai people, Americans and others to commemorate King Bhumibol Adulyadej's birthplace, The King of Thailand Birthplace was established in 1998. December 5, 1999 marks the 72nd birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand . We wish to express our considerable respect, honor and love for the world's longest reigning monarch - His Majesty the Great, King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Fulfilling the promise he made at the traditional coronation ceremony on May 5, 1950 . His Majesty has not only provided moral support and encouragement to the Thai people, but he has also made resources available to improve the livelihood of the people of Thailand.

King Bhumibol's reign has exemplified the traditional pronouncement he made at the crowning, "We will reign in righteousness, for the benefit and happiness of the Siamese people."
